EVERYDAY SKINCARE ROUTINE ..

July 9, 2017

My skincare routine has recently upped its game, spending more time researching new skincare products has been a big plus to my skin, I was a bit of a make up wipe fanatic before and wouldn’t treat my skin kindly. Suffering from acne when younger has left me with some minor acne scars on my face, make me self conscious when going bare. My skin type is oily, and is something I used to ignore using anything any everything on my skin not checking if it was suited for my skin, but now I will always check what the product is aimed for. I have quite sensitive skin, so this can be a big meh in my skincare routine. So finding suited products my skin seemed difficult but that is no longer an issue…
Liz Earle cleanse and polish…

This is such a beauty blogger must right?. I always start my routine by removing all of the make up and dirt off my face. And I couldn’t think of anything better than cleanse and polish to do the job. I use 2 pumps on to my hands, making sure they’re clean, then rub in circular movements bringing the make up to the surface of my skin. I then go in with my Muslim cloth from Liz Earle, using hot water to damped the cloth then wiping away the muck from my face, honestly this is my favourite part after a long day. Then I splash my face and go on to my next step…

Garnier rose water infused toner…

Toner is something I was never too fussed about, thinking it did nothing for my skin but knowing how easy it is to have break outs when there is still dirt on my face makes toner a big part of my routine. I use the Garnier rose water toner,  which really helps to stop break outs. I apply a few drops on to a cotton pad and make circular movements across and around my face, collecting any missed dirt from before.

L’Oreal hydra genius….

This is a recent purchased of mine but has been spoken about in previous posts: EVERYDAY MAKE UP ROUTINE & NEW IN SKINCARE FAVOURITES. This is a gorgeous gel formula moisturizer and feels so light on the skin. I have mine in combination/normal. There are three styles of products for all skin types.

*Anatomicals facial spritz…

I don’t think I will ever be able to finish my skincare routine without spraying my face with my Anatomicals facial spritz. Since Anatomicals kindly sent this over to me I haven’t gone a day without using it. It makes my skin feel so fresh and is a great way to finish my skincare routine.

Hope you’ve enjoyed reading all about my skincare routine. There’s one thing I’m a bit clueless about which is serums. If you have any good serum suggestions please leave a comment below.

  1. These look like great products. Haven’t heard of some of them but I’ll definitely keep an eye out for them next time next time I’m shopping. Great post, I like reading posts like this as I discover so many new products!!

  2. Hey Chelsea.
This is such a helpful post! I have always had trouble with my skin, but never quite knew what to use on it. I’ve tried many different skincare products. My most recent was a tea tree oil range. It worked for a while but my face started to turn very dry and I started having breakouts again. Definitely going to go with your suggestions, you’re a life saver!

  3. I’ve heard about the Cleanse and Polish for years, but I’ve never been able to get my hands on it. Hopefully one day I’ll get to try it. I love Garnier products. That rose toner looks lovely! Sadly, I’m allergic to rose products, so I’ll just admire it from here lol!

  4. I’ve never been too ‘fussed’ over toner either, but I love Garnier products! I really need to purchase some Anotomical products too, been wanting to try them for absolutely ages! ☺️

  5. I have never tried liz earle before, but since you have oily skin and I do too, I think I’m gonna give it a go. I loved reading this, written so well x
